Seven Random Facts about Me
I graduated with a degree in Chemistry and English Creative writing because I figured I could get two degrees for the price of one, and I’m more than happy with my current job as a technical writer.
I may or may not be addicted to coffee, and my favorite
addiction blend is Gevalia Columbia roast. Just add a dash of vanilla creamer, a scoop of hot cocoa, a spearmint leaf, and a sprinkle of cinnamon! You know it’s time to go shopping when you run out of vanilla creamer.
My favorite word is acquiesce. Because it’s beautiful and is the most lovely way to say “I give up” when your sister is bothering you about something.
On that note, I have three sisters! Eldest Sister (with nephew), Older Sister (but only by 11 months!), and twin sister (fraternal). Older Sister is prolific on the Twitters and random-returning on the YouTubes. Twister has her own blog where she occasionally discusses art and her long-standing face-off with the Beast of Depression. PS, for those of you with fraternal twins, do NOT ever say “We’re just siblings born at the same time.” You might get punched. Just sayin’.
I have an embarrassing number of unlisted videos on YouTube in which I sing covers of songs (mostly with a dramatic emotional face). I unlisted them because 1.) I wanted to create new things and 2.) now that I’m an “adult” looking for “jobs,” I don’t want my employer to see my “sparkling creativity” aka tomfoolery. None of this stopped me from recording a cover of a song from Tangled yesterday though, so… yeah.
After 10 months of living in my first apartment where 90% of the furniture belongs to my old roommate, I finally bought a TV (but I still don’t have WiFi or Cable). On that note, my old-moved-out roommate and my new-moving-in roommate have the same first name. I bet that won’t be confusing.
Here are the bloggers I have nominated!
Rachel Poli (an active delight here on WordPress and on Twitter)
Juni Desireé (a constant source of inspiration and advice)
Curtis Bausse (makes you laugh and think)
Sara (honest, forthright, and interesting!)
If I could flip back the nomination to Charles French, I would! He is a wonderful influence and an insightful advice-giver.
